and mr D arrives

a friend of a friend is usually the best way to meet new people. mr D surprisingly is almost like me in many ways. im sure we have our differences but the similarities are very striking that it's scary. the main problem i see is the distance...a 9 hour drive or an hour plane ride. we'll see how mr D works out.

do i always have to look?

ever since i broke up, i've reconnected with some old friends i've known and met some new people. i guess talking is better than hooking up with anyone just to feel good about oneself. i don't know why i always have to look for someone new every time i either break up with someone or stop dating a person. i wonder how come after all these years that i was able to survive alone that i still have the urge to look for a special someone....
